Award Winning Certified Professional Speaker

Cam Calkoen (pronounced CALKOON) was born with Cerebral Palsy and told his biggest challenges would be the way he walks and and get this... the way he talks, so it’s fair to say he’s faced a few challenges in life.

But, as Cam says, “challenge is in the eye of the beholder and people who see opportunity really do build the dream”. Cam’s dreams have seen him represent New Zealand in Athletics, he then took his learning’s from the world of sport to the world of business where he became a highly effective charitable fundraiser, a social innovator and now takes versions of the messages we are about to hear throughout the world. He’s spoken in Taupo, Omaru, Gore (said with a smile and a wink), Brisbane, Tokyo, Toronto, Amsterdam and New York City. How? Why? Because the reasons for saying yes are often way more awesome than the perceptions for saying no and he wishes to see a world where everyone is inspired to be opportunity-centric. I guess we’d all like a bit of what makes Cam tick, I don’t know what we’d call it, maybe it’s just his straight up spunk for life, but he’s here to share part of the journey with us… to inspire us… to have us thinking why we’re here… and what an awesome life not only looks like but can achieve. Please give a warm welcome to the guy who sees awesomely, hears awesomely and lives awesomely…Cam Calkoen (pronounced CALKOON)
