When I was 24 years old, I stepped onto a stage at an industry conference where I knew no one.

I wasn’t the headline speaker. I wasn’t well known. I was simply someone with a dream, a message, and a determination to make every opportunity count.

My knees were shaking. The butterflies were flying. But I believed I had something worth sharing.

By the end of that conference, I was the only speaker to receive a standing ovation.

That wasn’t the moment I became a speaker.

It was the moment I realised I could Out Speak the Speaker within me. The one that said, “This is AWESOME.”

Over the past two decades, that single moment has grown into a full-time speaking career, taking me onto stages throughout New Zealand and around the world.

But this isn’t a journey I’ve finished. It’s one I’m still walking. Every audience teaches me something. Every keynote helps me grow. Every stage reminds me there’s another level to reach.

That’s why I created Out Speak the Speaker, to invite aspiring speakers onto the same journey. I’ll share everything I’ve learnt, everything I’m still learning, and help you build the confidence, craft and experience to become a speaker who gets booked.
